Union right of entry – what’s reasonable on where to meet? In January 2011, a Full Bench of Fair Work Australia overturned Commissioner Julius Roe’s Decision and found that it was reasonable for an employer to require a union official of the AMIEU to meet with workers in the training room near the manager’s office rather than in the (union-preferred) lunch room.
